Big Ideas: Who or what is in control?

Reading: Today we will read for 10 minutes. Your next book review will be on May 17th.

Agenda:

1. Start this week's vocabulary. It is not a difficult list.
2. Today you need to put your lines in your own words.
1. Use the dictionary at the bottom or online to look up unfamiliar words.
2. Ask how to pronounce unfamiliar words.
3. Today you will read through your scene two times.
1. On the first read, try to read it through quickly.
2. On the second read, start to add emotion to movement to your reading. I demonstrated how to do this frequently.
4. I will call each group up to the front and give them tips on how to block the scene. I will give each group 3 minutes.

Homework:

1. Make sure you start your vocabulary for this week.
