Writing our narratives

Big Ideas: How do individuals and groups shape our identity? How do we become a confident individual?

Reading: Today we will read for 10 minutes.




Agenda:
  1. Copy and paste what is on your planning guide to the document SG005 in GOOGLE CLASSROOM.
  2. You will be graded on the following items:
    1. Use a variety of techniques to sequence events so that they build on one another to create a coherent whole.
    2. Use narrative techniques, such as dialogue, pacing, description, and reflection to develop events and/or characters.
    3. Use precise words and phrases, telling details, and sensory language to convey a vivid picture of the experiences, events, setting, and/or characters.

Success Criteria:
  1. I can plan a narrative that has vivid description and dialogue.

Homework:
  1.  Did you start your new vocabulary list?
  2.  Make sure you are reading for ten minutes at home.
