1. Choose quotes to provide evidence for your first reason why it makes sense for Atticus to Take a Stand.

1. Make sure you have a topic sentence (Reason #1) at the beginning of the paragraph.
2. Make sure you use the quote sandwich method when including your quote in the paragraph.

1. Make sure you finish your book by Friday. No vocabulary tonight. Enjoy the night off!

Beginning our essay

Goal: to write the introduction to your essay.

Reading: You should be done with your book by Friday.

Agenda:

1. NoRedInk (6 minutes) - Writing a good HOOK. Email me if you were not here and need the class code.
2. Write the introduction to your essay. We will use the model essay as our guide.
3. Submit your introduction to Peergrade to receive feedback.
